John H. Brandt's practice focuses on family law.  He has served as a lecturer to fellow family law practitioners on a state-wide basis.  Mr. Brandt is a certified family law mediator, and previously chaired the Family Law Executive Committee of his local Bar Association.  He was appointed as the attorney member on the Indiana Child Custody and Support Advisory Committee by the Indiana Senate.  Mr. Brandt is a member of both the American and the Indiana Bar Association Family Law Sections.

Mr. Brandt provides services including drafting and negotiation Pre-Nuptial and Post-Nuptial Agreements, negotiation and litigating dissolution of marriage actions, pursuing fair and accurate business and asset appraisals in conjunction with a dissolution proceeding, identifying and valuing pension and retirement benefits, litigating complex custody, parenting time and child support disputes, litigating contested and uncontested adoption proceedings, and initiating or defending appellate family law proceedings.

Mr. Brandt was admitted to the Indiana State Bar in 1978.  He practices in the area of family law, including dissolution of marriage, modification of child custody and support, child relocation, paternity, and adoptions  Mr. Brandt is also a Certified Family Law Mediator.
