Susan Weaver has been a divorce attorney for 24 years. Directly after Law School she worked for the Domestic Relations Court in Cuyahoga County as the Director of the Legal Department and Court Administrator. She designed and implemented the Guardian Ad Litem Program for the court and the first Child Support Guidelines for the State of Ohio. Prior to becoming an attorney she was a Social Worker and the Executive Director of Divorce Equity, Inc. She has two offices: one located in Downtown Cleveland and one located in Westlake.

Susan Weaver received her Doctor of Jurisprudence form the Cleveland State University, Cleveland Marshall College of Law after receiving her Masters in Social Service Administration for the Case Western Reserve University in 1976.

Ms. Weaver was admitted to the Ohio State Bar Association in 1980. Susan Weaver is also a member of a number of other associations, including: the Cuyahoga County Bar Association, where she served as Chairperson for the Committee on Lawyer/Client relations from 1995-1998 and a Trustee for the Section of Domestic Relations in 1984; the Ohio Women's Political Caucus, where she was State Chair from 1983-1985; and she is a member of the Center for Principled Family Advocacy.

Susan Weaver received the honor of being named one of Cleveland's Most Influential Women by Northern Ohio Live in 1983.
